Un regard contemporain sur la tapisserie
\nLes Etablissements Jules Pansu en partenariat avec la Ville de Paris ont lanc\u00e9 en janvier dernier un concours pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un carton de tapisserie murale d\u00e9corative, dont l\u2019objectif est de proposer un regard contemporain sur la tapisserie permettant de valoriser toute la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des techniques li\u00e9es \u00e0 ce savoir-faire.<\/p>\n

Tal Waldman (Talva Design) a remport\u00e9 ce premier concours avec un carton intitul\u00e9 Le Jardin de la cr\u00e9ation.
\nLe projet laur\u00e9at sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9e aux Tissages de la Lys (Groupe Pansu) par les Meilleurs Ouvriers de France et fera l\u2019objet d\u2019une \u00e9dition commerciale. .<\/p>\n

La tapisserie sera expos\u00e9e aux Ateliers de Paris durant les Designer\u2019s days en juin 2009.<\/p>\n

\nPRICE JULES PANSU – CITY OF PARIS<\/strong>
\nA contemporary look on tapestry<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Pansu group in partnership with the city of Paris launched a competition in January 09, for the creation of a decorative wall tapestry. The objective of the competition was to propose a contemporary view on tapestry permitting to promote various techniques connected to this tradition.<\/p>\n

Tal Waldman (Talva Design) won this competition with a project entitled \u2018The garden of creation\u2019.
\nThe winning project will be realized in Lilly weaving (Pansu group) by the \u2018Meilleurs Ouvriers de France\u2019 (best artisans of France) and will be published and marketed.<\/p>\n

The tapestry will be presented in an exposition at the \u2018Ateliers de Paris\u2019 next June during the Designer Days.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sentation : \u00ab Le jardin de la cr\u00e9ation \u00bb<\/strong>
\nLa cr\u00e9ation absolue, la cr\u00e9ation de la vie, se fond avec les mythologies du jardin, le jardin d\u2019\u00c9den et le jardin pa\u00efen comme lieux de cr\u00e9ation et de vie. Une mythologie personnelle est ainsi cr\u00e9\u00e9e : \u00ab Le jardin de la cr\u00e9ation \u00bb.
\nAu centre du jardin, la grotte, lieu myst\u00e9rieux, sombre, inconnu : l\u2019ut\u00e9rus. Symbole du myst\u00e8re de la naissance et de la cr\u00e9ation. Repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par une m\u00e8re et son enfant.
\nAutour on trouve le jardin et l\u2019apparition de la m\u00e8re de la nature, couronn\u00e9e de fleurs, la reine du jardin et de la for\u00eat. Elle appara\u00eet d\u2019un arbre, avec un enfant et les fleurs.
\nLa seule m\u00e8re \u00ab humaine \u00bb sort du jardin avec un b\u00e9b\u00e9 dans ses bras, renvoyant, par une interpr\u00e9tation personnelle, \u00e0 la sortie du jardin d\u2019\u00c9den : la s\u00e9paration du jardin de la cr\u00e9ation vers la vie.
\nTraditionnellement, la tapisserie r\u00e9v\u00e8le des secrets, des messages, des mythologies, des histoires. Il m\u2019a paru naturel de proposer une interpr\u00e9tation personnelle, intime, d\u2019un th\u00e8me cependant universel et intemporel.
\nLa cr\u00e9ation \u2013 pleine de secrets, d\u2019obscurit\u00e9, mais aussi de beaut\u00e9 et d\u2019optimisme \u2013 n\u2019est pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019artiste ou \u00e0 la m\u00e8re, mais appartient \u00e0 chacun, \u00e0 chaque moment.<\/p>\n

Presentation \u00ab The garden of creation \u00bb<\/strong>
\nThe absolute creation, creation of life, mixes with garden mythologies, Garden of Eden, a pagan garden as a place of life creation. A personal mythology is then created: \u201cThe garden of Creation\u201d.
\nIn the garden centre, the grotto (cave), a mysterious place, dark, unknown: the uterus, symbol of creation and birth. Represented here by the mother and her child.
\nAround we find the garden and an apparition of Mother Nature, crowned with flowers, queen of the garden and the forest. She appears from a tree with her child and flowers.
\nThe only \u2018human\u2019 mother leaves the garden with a baby in her bras, sent, in a personnel interpretation, to leave the Garden of Eden: the separation from the garden of creation into life.
\nTraditionally, tapestry reveals secrets, messages, mythologies, stories. It appeared natural to me to propose an intimate and personnel interpretation to a universal and in temporal theme.
\nThe creation, full of secrets, obscurity, as well as beauty and optimism should not be reserved to the artist or the mother, but belong to each and one of us, in each moment.<\/p>\n
